Badajoz (Spanish: provincia de Badajoz [baðaˈxoθ]; Portuguese: província de Badajoz [bɐ.ðɐˈʒɔʃ]) is a province of western Spain located in the autonomous community of Extremadura. It was formed in 1833. It borders the provinces of Cáceres in the north, Toledo and Ciudad Real in the east, Córdoba in the southeast, Seville, and Huelva in the south and Portugal in the west.

With an area of 21,766 km² (8,404 sq mi), it is the largest province in Spain.
