The San Antonio Mine is located in the area called "Quinola" next to the road BA-5001 between the peoples of Alburquerque and The Codosera.

This is an important antimony mine closed relatively recently (1986), and has been the largest mine of this metal in Spain.

Also of great significance in terms of Geochemistry being one of the few well-studied from a Sb-W paragenesis examples in Europe.

This is a site associated with level of breccia formed by sedimentary processes of seafloor in facies of slope with a contribution of mineralization by volcanic emanations which passing through the level of breccia precipitated the minerals of Sb - W.
