Valencia del Ventoso igneous complex
An igneous complex (ca. 130 km2) located in the southern Ossa-Morena Zone of the SW Iberian Massif (Variscan Foldbelt, Spain).
Four main plutonic intrusions and two dyke swarms are discerned within the complex. The rocks are gabbro, gabbrodiorite, diorite, quartzdiorite, quartzmonzodiorite, tonalite, monzogranite, rhyolite, trachyte, latite, andesite and basalt.
Covers mainly the municipality Valencia del Ventoso and the comarca Sierra Suroeste.
