A copper prospect.
Prehistoric copper mining in the southeast of Extremadura. The Minillas mine (Granja de Torrehermosa, Badajoz), a historical-mining heritage to be preserved.

The deposit is located some 3.3km SSW of the town of Granja de
Torrehermosa.
In the 19th century, the Mining and Metallurgical Society of Peñarroya requested the concession 'La Minita' for this area, which was granted on November 19, 1890, with 10 claims. In 1969, the SMMP changed its name to the Mining and Metallurgical Society of Peñarroya-Spain.
The concession expired in 1978 due to the renouncement of the latter society.
