Lead and vanadium mine 2 km ENE of Santa Marta de los Barros.

The main mines of the Santa Marta mining district are located in two different places in the northeast area of the town, and are concentrated in two adjacent geographical areas: Los Llanos and Las Colmenitas (these names do not correspond to mine names, but of geographical areas). In Los Llanos area are located "La Constante" and "Maria Luisa" mines, as well as the main shaft of the "Reserva" mine. The area of Las Colmenitas, north of Los Llanos, is where the rest of the works of the "Reserva" mine are located (shaft #2 to #6).
