The main ridge stretches from the south-west to the north-east. The side ridges go away from him. In the south, a long ridge with Wilkowyja and Jaworowa leaves from the Bobrzak towards the south-east , ending in the area of ​​the lower part of Pisarzowice . In the middle part, from the Skalnik massif, the ridge towards the west, with the diameter and Brzeźnik , ending north of Kowary leaves . From him, in turn, leaves the branch towards the north with Płonica and Mężykowa , separating Strużnica from Gruszków and ending in the area of Karpniki. The ridge towards the south-east with Jagoda, reaching the upper part of Pisarzowice, also leaves the Skalnik massif . In the north, two ridges also go away from Dziczej Góry . The south-east ridge culminates in the vast massif of Wielka Kopy , from which the subordinate arms diverge in various directions, while the north-west ridge runs through Świnią Gora, Lwia Góra and Janske Gora ( Janowicki Grzbiet ), and its western part, behind Przeł. Karpnicka is called the Sokole Mountains . Finally from Wołeka series of ridges goes to the north-west, north and north-east, among others Castle Ridge and Metallurgical Ridge . In the west, on the border with the Jeleniogórska Valley, there is the isolated Mrowiec massif .

The north-western part of the Rudawy Janowickie is called the Sokole Mountains, whereas the west is the Karpnickie Hills .
