In the retrogressed eclogites, the garnets have re-crystallised during decompression and the composition has changed from Grs32Prp8Alm59Sps1 in the core and Grs29Prp15Alm55Sps1 at the rim for the eclogite garnet, and Grs38Prp0.0Alm42Sps20 in the core and Grs38Prp4Alm49Sps9 at the rim in the retrograded eclogites.

The amphibole content is around 10-12 modal% of the unaltered eclogite and more than 50% of the retrograde eclogite.
