A gabbroid with the felsic minerals comprising less than 5% quartz or no foids, and 10-35% K-feldspar.
An optional term for a variety of granite having roughly equal amounts of alkali feldspar and plagioclase. Lacroix (1933, p.188) used the similar term 'granite monzonitique'.
