About Microgranite
A granite with grain size of about 1-5 mm.
Similar to aplitic granite or Aplite, but aplite is finer grained, 0.5-2mm, with little mica or amphiboles. Aplite is also generally restricted to dykes and bands in pegmatites, while microgranite can be in larger bodies.
