There are (were) only a few dumps around the Jean Baptiste shaft.

Named in honour of Giovanni Battista ("Jean Baptiste") Serpieri (March 23, 1832, Rimini, Italy – October 17, 1897, Athens, Greece), a revolutionary, engineer, mining entrepreneur, and developer of mines in the Lavrion District, Attica, Greece.
