Bagnolo Piemonte (Occitan: Banhuel; Piedmontese: Bagneul) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Turin and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Cuneo. The ski resort and village of Rucas is within the commune.
Bagnolo Piemonte borders the following municipalities: Barge, Bibiana, Cavour, Crissolo, Luserna San Giovanni, Ostana, Rorà, and Villar Pellice.

"I did several EDS analyzes on "chlorite" samples from Montoso and Luserna and in all the samples analyzed, iron prevails over magnesium. I did not go beyond the investigations but I am convinced that in the mining complex of the Luserna stone, chamosite is clearly prevalent over clinochlore. Indeed I would be led to think that the clinochlore is not present.
