This quarrying area of grey-green leucogranitic orthogneiss, commercially known as "Pietra di Luserna", includes the quarries named: Tube, Ciafalco, Bialot Ciafalco, and Avei. They are located at elevations above 1000 m a.s.l. in the area comprised between the right bank of Il Bialot and the left bank of Rio di Comba Mora.

Note: Some of these quarries have been collectively indicated in the past as "Mugniva quarries", from the name of the eponymous hamlet located on the opposite side of Comba Mora at about 1280 m a.s.l. along the quarry road descending from Montoso into the Luserna Valley. However, this name should not be used, because of the existence of small abandoned quarries with this name near the hamlet.
