Abandoned granophyre quarry, located above the road connecting Cuasso al Monte to Cavagnano (quarry edge: 650 m; quarry foot: 620 m).

Beside the conventional minerals link to the cavities ("miarole"), other minerals are present in veins and patches related to later stage hydrothermal activities.

A hydrothermal paragenesis, consisting of arsenopyrite, pyrite, galena, sphalerite, wurtzite and various arsenates, is present in altered granophyre. Another hydrothermal paragenesis includes galena, cerussite, cuprite, and Cu sulfates.
