Description: The brick-red, fibrous-lamellar aggregates, in association with calcite and chalcedony, roughly described as "stilbite" by Maraschini (1824) can be ascribed to both stilbite-Ca and ferrierite-Mg. The real stilbite-Ca appears more commonly as pale pink to brick-red lamellar aggregates and more rarely as sheaf-like and radiating aggregates and also as red, twinned tabular crystals.
