Comments:
ICDD 22-718. Ranciéite XRD data appear "variable," depending on hydration state. Notes (by Uwe Kolitsch) regarding data from Ertl et al. (2005) : The reflection at 2.70 (4) appears highly questionable; it is not contained in a calculated pattern (based on the crystal structure refinement of Ertl et al. (2005)). (ii) The reflection at 9.55 (20) is also questionable since it is equally not contained in a calculated pattern; although such a reflection may be observed in the patterns of some ranciéite samples, it could be due to a mechanical admixture of todorokite.
