Aggregate of tabular crystals, blacks, shiny. The guettardite of this location is the best in the world, as described by Dr. Biagioni, in his book: " Minerali della Provincia di Lucca", pagg 159-60, edited by AMI, Associazione Mineralogica Italiana, 2009: « The guettardite was found only in the quarries of the basin Seravezza in the Ceragiola and in the quarry of Python. The crystals are prismatic dress up to acicular, sometimes tabular; the color is black, with metallic luster (Orlandi et al., 1996). The size of the crystals can exceed the centimeter».
