Named after Terry C. Wallace Jr., (b. June 30, 1956) a former professor of geosciences and mineral museum curator specializing in silver minerals at the University of Arizona for over 20 years. Wallace joined Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in 2003 and now is the Principal Associate Director for science, technology, engineering, and educational activities at LANL.

lath-shaped, black, with striations parallel to the elongated direction (the c axis) and up to 0.5 mm long
Place of Conservation of Type Material:
Mineral Museum of the University of Arizona, catalogue number 19304, and the RRUFF project, deposition number R100007.
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Hydrothermal alteration and mineralization are believed to have taken place concurrently with the intrusion of late-stage volcanic domes and dikes
