General Appearance of Type Material:
Several euhedral grains in polished sections. Present near the interface between massive pyrrhotite and gangue. Some are elongated, ranging in size from about 10 µm diameter to about 80 µm x 800 µm.
Place of Conservation of Type Material:
Western Australian Museum, Perth, Australia, number M65.1991 (holotype).
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Cambrian age pyrite-sulfide deposit.
