Bjørlykke (1934) describes 11 quarries on the land of the Frikstad farm.
Barth (1931) also describes several quarries in the same area.
A study of the altitude map in combination with an aerial picture has revealed the presence (status 2018) of at least 30 quarries and prospects north of the road (Fv 292 which traverses the old land of the Frikstad Farms).
Then there are also the quarries south of the road (Fv 292) and the ones in the west.
It will be difficult to positively identify all the quarries Bjørlykke and Barth describe with this method. There are just too many new quarries.
Only field work might give certainty.
Coordinates are for the farm the online map calls the Frikstad farm.
