A former group of Au-Zn-As-Pb occurrences/mines located in secs. 26, 27, 34 & 35, T16N, R8E, MDM, in the vicinity of Grass Valley. Owned by the Empire Star Mines Company. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is .

Patented in 1929, the company took over the Coe, Crown Point, Hermosa, Rocky Bar, Gold Hill, Hudson Bay, Grange, North Star, East Star, Central, New York Hill, Granite Hill, Pennsylvania-W.Y.O.D.-Golden Treasure-Telegraph, Cassidy, Bowery, Empire-New Ophir-Daisy Hill, Omaha-Lone Jack, Homeward Bound and Wisconsin (Menlo) (the last 4 belonging to the old Empire West holdings), Orleans-Prescott Hill-Kings Hill, Hevston Hill-Sebastopol-Biggs Sims & Electric & many others.
