A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the NE¼NE¼ sec. 35, T16N, R8E, MDM, about 2.3 km ESE of Grass Valley proper. The property comprises 15 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The vein is narrow but rich. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 175 meters and comprised of an incline.
