Siglitzstollen (Imhof-Unterbaustollen; Imhofstollen; Imhofstollen-Siglitzstollen), Bad Gastein, Bezirk St. Johann im Pongau, Salzburg, Österreich


Gneisses in the lower Siglitz valley include a series of NNE-SSW striking quartz-carbonate veins, carrying a suite of gold-rich sulphide minerals, which were the object of some mining activities in the past. During the second world war, an adit was driven from the west, cutting the deposit at its base, to extract the ore still present at greater depths. During the 1980s, both the adit and parts of the old workings were reopened for prospecting works for a short period of time.
The adit is 5.3 km long.
