When I worked there as a geological technician where I was incharge of sampling underground, pyrobitumen was abundant in one of the stopes on the 700 ft level. We used a Scintillometer to test the radioactivity of a one foot thick vein of black mud like material and deemed the area unfit to continue working in. |
