Type Locality:
Known synthetic analogue. The first vanadate mineral containing both copper and vanadyl group.
The occurrence at the Livorno province is not molinelloite but volborthite with small quantity of associated duttonite (Cristian Biagioni, PXRD, 23/07/2026).
