Small abandoned quarry and road cut (dating back to 1977) in the selbergite tuff and pumice series of Rieden-volcano.
Tuffs with different types of xenoliths: mica schist, crystalline schist, sanidinite, subvolcanite, alkali-metasomatites, sanidine megacrysts.
Located on the north slope of Gänsehals mountain, 1.5 km SSW of Wehr and about 5 km SSW of Niederzissen.
