Washington State county centrally located north to south and abutting Idaho on the eastern border. The county has a total area of 4,610 km2 (1,781 square miles) and is the 4th most populous county in Washington State. Geological information is contained in the Digital Geological Map in the reference section. County coordinates are given for Spokane as it is the county seat.
