Gruben Alt & Neu Bescheert Glück (einschl. Dorschenmühle), Lichtenberg, Landkreis Hof, Oberfranken, Bayern, Deutschland
Copper-bearing quartz-fluorite veins near the contact of devonian schists and diabase, once worked for copper and, later, for fluorite by the mines "Alt Bescheert Glück" and "Neu Bescheert Glück", of which some dumps still remain. The host rocks are disseminated by mineralized clefts from which nice micromounts were collected in the past. Outcrops and loose boulders bearing a similar mineralization also occur in the area east and west of Dorschenmühle, and around the nearby Motocross course.
Located about 1.5 km north of Lichtenberg.
The mines include Dorschenmühle.
