Rare anhedral isolated grains with size ranging from a few tens to 250 μm.
Place of Conservation of Type Material:
School of Mines, Paris, France, no. 56244.
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Occurs together with talc, clinochlore and kyanite (or alone, armouring corundum) as inclusions in pyrope megablasts from the ultra-high-pressure metamorphic terrane of the Dora-Maira massif, Italian Western Alps.
