Köppen climate type:
Vein-type, black-shale hosted cassiterite-sulfide deposit in the eastern part of the Dachang orefield.
The Kangma deposit holds an estimated reserve of 19,400 t of tin and 78,500 t of zinc. The mineralization mainly occurs within Middle Devonian calcareous black shale, marlstone, and mudstone units, forming veins consist mainly of cassiterite-sulfide and quartz. Recent drilling and tunnel exploration have revealed that skarn mineralization occurs at the −25 m level. The skarn mineralization occurs as stratiform massive body and veins.
