富家坞铜(钼)矿床, 德兴铜矿, 德兴铜钼金矿田, 德兴市, 上饶市, 江西省, 中国
Porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit, mined from an open pit.
Fujiawu (2.5 Mt Cu at 0.47%, 174,000 t Mo at 0.03%, and 27.5 t Au at 0.05 g/t) The mineralization at Fujiawu is characterized by abundant veinlets and disseminated ores, with minor veins. It is estimated that fifty Cu–Mo orebodies are present at Fujiawu and the main orebody, orebody I, accounts for approximately 99.5% of the entire metal reserves.
Four stages of veins were recognized in the Fujiawu Cu–Mo deposit, including stage 1 barren quartz-K-feldspar ± biotite veins and stage 2 quartz–molybdenite veins with potassic alteration, stage 3 quartz–pyrite–chalcopyrite veins with phyllic alteration, and stage 4 barren quartz-pyrite-calcite-chlorite ± epidote veins with propylitization.
