Quartz vein-type tungsten-tin-beryllium (scheelite-cassiterite-beryl) deposit, hosted in intercalating schists and marble of the Lower Triassic Zagunao series, that are intruded by a Yanshanian rare element-rich (Be, W, Sn, Li, Ta, Rb, etc.) adamellite-monzodiorite. More than 40 veins are known on the southeast slope of the Xuebaoding massif, near Huya village. Individual veins are several tens of metres long and typically 0.5-1.5 m wide.

Located in the northwest portion of Pingwu County, near the border with Songpan County.

Description: About a dozen or so of these specimens hit the market in two lots in 2001 and 2002. They were called a new mineral and labeled "pandaite" which had been used before and discredited. Then they chemically analysed as Kesterite.
