炭窑口铁铜锌矿, 乌拉特后旗, 巴彦淖尔市, 内蒙古自治区, 中国


Large-scale sedimentary exhalative (SEDEX) Pb-Zn-Cu deposit, comprising several bedded, stratiform and lensoid orebodies that are concordant to the host rock, which mainly consists of dolomite (locally containing baryte), carbonaceous slate, phyllite and schist, making up gently dipped anticlines and synclines. The ore minerals are mainly massive and banded. The host strata belong to the Mid Proterozoic Langshan Group, a cataclastic-carbonate formation intercalated by several layers of sodic and potassic felsic volcanic rocks.

Located about 30 km SW of the Dongshengmiao Mine.
