Named after the type locality - the famous Clara mine that is in Oberwolfach (Black Forest, Germany).
The Sr analogue of beudantite. The Fe analogue of kemmlitzite. Unique combination of elements (at the upload time).

A Ba analogue is known: Unnamed (Fe-analogue of Weilerite and Ba-analogue of Oberwolfachite).
