A quarry in a tourmaline pegmatite, which has been worked for quartz from 1789 until 1838. The locality is known for huge tourmaline crystals (up to 40 cm long and 8 cm across).
Located on Hörndl mountain (often erroneously referred to as Hörlberg mountain in the literature) near Lohberghütte.
