Approximately 800 meters northwest of the village of Ano Thermes, overprinted kyanite eclogite lensoid bodies (about 5 m in diameter) can be found within migmatites.
In the broader area around Thermes, Meses Thermes, and Ano Thermes, both vein-type and stratabound base-metal sulfide mineralization occur.
