Affioramento di plumasite del Croso della Gavala, Vocca, Provincia di Vercelli, Piemonte, Italia


Small plumasitic veins outcropping on the right-hand side of the valley, a little uphill of Alpe Stalmezzo. These veins cross a granulite-type rock, bearing garnet, sillimanite, corundum, biotite, plagioclase, K-feldspar, etc. The small plumasitic veins are constituted by plagioclase (andesine) and corundum.
