The denominated "Chãs Mines" correspond to a large geographic area which covers the districts of Aveiro (Cabreiros parish, municipality of Arouca) and Viseu (Candal and Manhouce parishes, municipality of São Pedro do Sul).
These mines were now split into three distinct localities where the most probable concessions are mentioned:
