The Källfallsgruvorna mines are located about 2 km northwest of Riddarhyttan. The iron oxide ore is folded with a fold axis plunging about 60° to the SW and is mainly composed of anthophyllite- and talc-bearing magnetite ore with accessory sulphide minerals molybdenite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. Actinolite-bearing skarn is subordinate.
