Named in honor of Milka Kronegold de Brodtkorb (05 July 1932, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina - 18 July 2019, Córdoba, Argentina), Professor at the Universities of Buenos Aires and La Plata, Argentina, for her contributions to mineralogy (especially that of Argentina) and economic geology. She coauthored the description of four minerals: suredaite, angelaite, jagueite, coiraite.
