The Blagodatnoe or Blagodat gold-sulfide deposit is located near Monetny (Монетный) village, Berezovskiy urban okrug (Berezovskiy gorodskoy okrug; Берёзовский городской округ), ca. 40 NE of Ekaterinburg, and was exploited in the period 1814-1966.

Seven different mines are located in the area of the ore deposit: Blagodatnyi No. 1 mine (Первый Благодатный рудник), Blagodatnyi No. 2 mine (Второй Благодатный рудник), Blagodatnyi No. 3 mine (Третий Благодатный рудник), Blagodatnyi No. 4 mine (Четвертый Благодатный рудник), Blagodatnyi No. 5 mine (Пятый Благодатный рудник), Lead mine (Свинцовый рудник), and Copper mine (Медный рудник).

Gold-bearing ores were mined from the Blagodatnye mines, Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4. The ore deposit is located in the gabbro-ultrabasic massif, embedded in diabase and slates in the eastern exocontact zone of Lower Carboniferous adamellites of the Kedrovyi massif. In the ore-bearing zone the main sulfides are pyrite and fahlores. Quartz veins, embedded in granites in the deep horizons, contain scheelite and molybdenite.
