A former municipal limestone quarry located in the S½ sec. 36, T2S, R5W, SBM, 2 miles E of Riverside city center, between Glenhaven Avenue on the E and Alessandro Boulevard on the W, E of Victoria Avenue. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Contact metamorphic dolomite intruded by granite. Periclase, spinel-forsterite and occasional spinel-monticellite facies. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.

Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry.
