High Triassic basalt cliffs exposed along the Bay of Fundy. The Colonial Copper Company operated a mine here from 1897 to about 1907.

Visitors should be very cautious and aware of rock falling from the cliffs and the tide times.

Description: Found in a pockety vein on the side of a boulder on the beach that had likely fallen from the cliff. Associated with quartz and chabazite. Some of the drusy quartz and all of the chabazite formed after the baryte. Specimen was 8x4 cm with crystals to 3 mm.

Colour: White
Description: A single specimen found in a vein with a significant amount of thaumasite. Noted as worthy of study by Terry Collett and analyzed by Don Doell. White hexagonal prismatic crystals, associated with light green apophyllite, light yellowish-grey stellerite, and light pinkish rhombohedral chabazite. Raman, performed at RRUFF, did not match any species in database but was similar to thaumasite. Confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and chemical analysis (microprobe) at RRUFF.
