A small quarry lying over 160 metres to the west-north-west of Beacon Drive.

The quarry lies on a roughly north-south strike in an 'elvan' a Cornish term for granite porphyry type rocks.

The quarry workings have cut stopes and a shaft of the old Wheal Bungay Mine.

Based upon an examination of historic mapping sources the quarry appears to be
