Markocice (until 1945 German: Markersdorf) – a former chain-village ("forest village") with a length of about 1.5 km, and within the borders of Bogatynia since October 2, 1954. Currently, as the south-eastern part of the town of Bogatynia, situated in the Jizera Foothills, in the Turoszów Basin.
