PXRD pattern similar to that of the synthetic analogue (Moore & Arahi (1975), in: Am. Mineral.: 60: 454). The formula suggests it to be a lower hydrate counterpart of vivianite.
One of four potentially new species from Markocice, Bogatynia area (Łużyce granitoids), Poland, reported as "Mineral U-4". Composition of all 4 phases (analyzed by EPMA, DTA, TGA, XRD and IR) is variable and it is unsure how it was deduced from the analyses. Associates with thorite, so-called thorogummite, 'UM1979-07-PO:CaFeHREESiTh', 'UM1979-08-PO:CCaFeHREESiTh', 'UM1979-10-PO:FeHREETh', and 'UM1980-04-PO:CaHREETh'. Alteration product.
