Type:
The Yunxian–Jinghong volcanic arc is distributed on the east side of the Lincang batholith, spanning both sides of the Lancang River. The magmatic activity in the region is represented by Middle-Late Triassic volcanic rocks. The Triassic volcanic rocks are usually divided into the lower Manghuai Formation and the upper Xiaodingxi Formation. The Manghuai Formation is mainly composed of rhyolite, rhyolite breccia tuff, and volcanic breccia, with a small amount of siltstone and shale interlayers, and a small amount of conglomerate at the bottom. The zircon U-Pb age is 244–231 Ma.
