An iron mine operated 1909–1922 by Munro Iron Mining Co, working in the Riverton Iron Formation. 1.2 million tons of ore were shipped. This mine is the type locality for the exceedingly rare manganese mineral seamanite. The property description is located at NW-NE, S1/2-NE, and NE-SE Sec. 26 T43N-R34W.
