Description: Kaersutite usually occurs as irregular crystals enclosed in the matrix. Occasionally, rounded, seemingly “polished” crystals up to 5 cm in diameter and 15 cm length can be found. The “polished“ surface is probably due to friction in the mineral breccia. Analytical data suggest that the Ti content in the kaersutite lies between 4,98 and 5,87 wt% TiO2
