Granulite quarry, with occasional serpentinite occurrences.

An amphibolitic rock exposed 2020-2024 contained various zeolites, prehnite and an unusual occurrence of yellow to red-orange vanadinite (colour due to variable trace amounts of Cr) (Knobloch et al., 2021). Sources of the Pb and V in the vanadinite are traces of galena and V-bearing minerals in the (ultra)mafic host rock(s).
