The minerals are localized in the fractures of a metagabbro rock, included into serpentines occurring along the Pian del Foco River, near Olbicella village (municipality of Tiglieto).

To reach the site from up to Tiglieto to Badia di Tiglieto, overtaking the parking for the abbey (Badia), along the road for about 2.5 km. Park just after the bridge over the stream Olbicella, take the dirt road to the left, passing next to a farm. The site can be reached in about 15 minutes.

Notes: According to the coordinates, this locality is already in Ponzone municipality. The hamlet "C. Pian del Fuoco" is at 44.5233, 8.5763.
